Before you start
Ask the provider for:
- Exact player name
- Publisher
- Supported Fire TV models
- Supported Fire OS version
- Login method
- Account credentials
- Support route
Availability may differ by device model, Amazon account region and store catalogue.
Step 1: Find the supported player
- From the Fire TV home screen, choose Find or use Alexa Voice Search.
- Search for the exact supported player.
- Open the listing.
- Verify the name, publisher and device compatibility.
- Select Get to install it.
Do not switch to an unofficial installation route when the verified player is unavailable.
Step 2: Add the provider credentials
- Open the installed player.
- Choose the login method documented by the provider.
- Enter the server and account details exactly.
- Allow the initial data load to complete.
- Confirm account status before changing player settings.
The player does not include a content package by itself.
Troubleshooting
The app does not appear
Check spelling, Fire OS version, Amazon account region and whether the provider supports the device.
The app installs but login fails
Confirm the account status and credential format with the provider. Share the error wording, device model and app version—not the password.
Playback or guide data is missing
Check whether all sections or only one category is affected. Confirm device time and connectivity, then give the provider a timestamp and account reference.
When the device is unsupported
When the verified player is not available in the official store, treat the device as unsupported for this setup route. Ask for another officially supported device or player.
